Take a dramatic Southwestern landscape, modify and simplify the shapes but remain true to the basic realism of the scene and you have the powerful acrylic paintings of Rafe Terry.
Having been influlenced early on by the impressionistic work of Lionel Feininger, Rafe found that the colors and planes of the Southwestern terrain quickly drew him to paint landscapes in a style that he describes as "stylized realism".
These cooking recipes have attracted a lot of food lovers because of the addition of various kinds of spices. These cooking recipes are listed in almost all restaurants.

The idea to paint the Southwestern flowers was suggested by George Molnar, an artist friend and neighbor. Always an avid gardener, Rafe found that enlarging the flowers gave a him a much greater appreciation of their incredible detail and beauty. Many of his paintings were inspired by the flowers in his own garden or on his many field trips.
Rafe graduated from The Art Institute of Boston in 1958. As Art Director of a Boston Advertising agency he won a number of Art Director's Awards for his magazine and newspaper advertising. He moved to Arizona in 1994 with his wife Sandy who is also an artist.
Carrying on the family tradition of working in the arts are sons, Stephen and David. The Terry Tileworks creates exquisite studio craftsman ceramic tile. Individually hand made and glazed in a rich palette of colors each tile is a work of art.
