Born in a Standard Oil lease house in 1926, Reynolds was raised in Taft, California. After returning from World War II he studied at the Kann Institute of Art in Beverly Hills where he soon found work in Hollywood. He sketched storyboards for the major studios for almost two decades until he moved to Arizona and began a career in fine art.
Today Reynolds paints the West in an impressionistic style that is timeless. He is an award winning member of the National Academy of Western Art and the Cowboy Artists of America.
